The house comfortably sleeps 12 guests in finely decorated, spacious, and well-appointed bedrooms with 6 bathrooms. The sixth bedroom is an annexe adjacent to the house and looks onto the herb garden. An additional small bedroom (13th person) could be added for an extra granny, child, or teenager.

The Interior

A welcoming double-volume entrance with sweeping staircase leads to the upstairs four bedrooms and the second sitting room. There is also a large TV/sitting room downstairs which looks onto a games patio and central courtyard.

A large gourmet kitchen and open-plan dining area meet the expectations of serious chefs, and a separate scullery looks onto the herb garden. Adjacent to this area is a Morso fireplace for those cold Hermanus days and a conservatory for easy socializing, which opens onto the garden.

The Garden

There are multiple al fresco dining areas:

The indigenous garden, a haven of tranquillity, offers an outside dining area next to the pool with access to the gas barbecue or charcoal/wood Weber braai. Two yellow-trunked fever trees near the pool attract birds and offer shade near the sunbathing lawn and loungers. In addition, memorable lunches with family or friends can be held under the two white stinkwoods, which offer shade in the central garden.

There is also a lunch bower for cooler outdoor dining to escape the hot midday sun. Last but not least, the Pierre Cronje dining table inside the house can seat 16, and the open sliding doors bring the outside in.

    Fantastic, large property. Multiple different spaces - large enough for the whole group to be together, but also allowing plenty of options for people to spend time in separate areas.   • Amazing house - with everything you could possibly need

    Will definitely return! The house is extremely spacious and is perfect for families with teenagers - giving everyone space to relax. Beautiful garden areas and outside seating. The kitchen included absolutely everything. We could not fault the house. It is also extremely quiet and peaceful.
